What is the Unicist Standard in Engineering Business?

It is the business organization based on the ontological structure of the fundamentals of businesses to develop accurate diagnoses, forecasts and strategies, monitoring them in order to make things happen.

It implies managing the concepts of businesses, transforming them into simple actions and producing the expected results.

More than 3,000 researches since 1976 allowed the development of the unicist business objects that integrate the Unicist Standard.

Haiti, earthquake and extreme poverty: A contribution of the Unicist Confederation

The dramatic earthquake in Haiti unveiled internationally the structural extreme poverty of the country. But, while the devastation of the earthquake needs to be palliated, the extreme poverty needs to be cured.

The Unicist ontological structure of poverty

The research on the unicist ontology of “Wealth & Poverty” was finished more than 10 years ago. This research showed that every country has emergent, developing, subsistent and under-developing niches in their culture. The wealth of a country depends of which niches prevail.

On the one hand, wealth is driven by work, innovative technology and individual development. On the other hand, poverty is driven by social / individual inertia, the use of subsistence technologies and socializing education.

Social / individual inertia implies that individuals are “imprisoned” by the myths and fallacious myths of cultures. Therefore there is an unconscious “identification with the victim” instead of a “solidarity with the victim”. This drives naturally to poverty.

Extreme poverty requires the existence of fundamentalism. Fundamentalist behavior is the unique valve to escape from the mind-trap of extreme poverty.

But elites are the active drivers of cultures. That is why the development of cultures is basically driven by their elites. Only the local elites of Haiti can cure the structural poverty of the country. This is valid for all the countries that have a structural poverty syndrome.

Don’t give a man a fish. Teach him how to fish instead. Palliatives need to exist, but only if they sustain cures. If not they increase the degradation of a culture.

Our contribution

Unfortunately, we cannot help with palliatives but we can make a small contribution to cures. We offer 100 free accesses to the Unicist Technology Transfer Programs for Haitians so they can apprehend how to develop, step by step, an increase of the emergent niches of their country. This is for all the Haitians that are willing to help their country evolve wherever they live.

The unicist ontology of Innovation Blindness in Engineering – The IT improvement killer

The development of unicist technologies and their implementation processes required the research of innovation blindness to develop strategies to avoid it.

Change blindness is a well known and experimented subject. The research was developed by different educational institutions:

Innovation blindness is an unconscious response of individuals who do not perceive the proposed change, when the conditions to make use of it are not given.

The avoidance of energy consumption to introduce a new task in an individual’s brain is the functionality of innovation blindness.

Causes of innovation blindness

There are social and individual causes.

Social causes

1) When there are utopias implicit in the innovations that are out of reach for a group or society.
2) When the innovation does not respects the myths of a culture.
3) When the innovation disrespects the taboos of a culture.
4) When the innovation modifies the ethics of a culture.

Individual causes

1) When it modifies an individual’s habits.
2) When it modifies the ethics of an individual.
3) When the “functional recreation” by a user requires a level of knowledge the individual doesn’t have.
4) When the ego or the “business” of an individual is affected.
5) When an increase of responsibility of the user is required and s/he has no need to assume it.
6) When an increase of internal freedom of the individual is required.
7) When it stimulates guild or fear of the user.

Unicist Thinking in Engineering / Human action is driven by fundamentals

There is a huge difference between action and movement. Action implies functional movements to achieve results. But movements are not necessarily functional. Actions must follow the synchronicity of the actual reality.

That is why individuals need to have a final picture of what has to be achieved in their “long term” memory in order to be able to follow the timing of reality.

This final picture is defined by the fundamentals of what is being achieved. Therefore individuals who do not have the final picture (the fundamentals) cannot assume the responsibility for producing results. Their commitment is with the task and the movements they make become an end in themselves.

Knowing the structure of the fundamentals involved in an objective is what makes action possible.

The apprehension of fundamentals requires assuming the responsibility for results, investing the necessary energy to learn and focusing on the solution. That is why military say “hard training, easy combat”.

“A journalist mentioned that a certain basketball player was extremely lucky in the last match.
The basketball player answered:
Yes, you are right I was very lucky; the more I train the luckier I am.”
