In the business world institutionalization needs to be considered in terms of added value to foster growth.

In the business world institutionalization needs to be considered in terms of added value to foster growth. The existence of transcendent goals makes a company more reliable than a business that is only concerned about making money.

But it has to be considered that enterprises include necessarily an entrepreneurial activity in order to gain value to grow. Market growth is basically driven by the enterprising attitude and internal growth is based on the entrepreneurial attitude.

What makes companies grow in a market is their enterprising attitude that includes innovation, superior added value, transcendence based reliability and the integration of a community with their clients and potential markets.

Enterprising is a condition to become a leader or an innovator in a market. Without enterprising, there are no transcendent goals to follow.

The Unicist Standard in Management is based on integrating objects in the whole process which includes Peopleware, Software and Hardware. Managing by objects increases notoriously the objectivity and thus the results that need to be achieved. It integrates both the subjective and objective aspects of businesses in an object driven process to ensure results.

The Unicist Object Driven Management approach implies understanding the nature of the business you are working with to select the hardware and software according to the people you have. It puts the Object driven organization into practice using both a minimum strategy, that ensures the survival and a maximal strategy, to go beyond the present boundaries to grow.

This requires using an integrative logic to make it possible; this is what the Unicist Logic is about.

The Unicist Logic establishes the formal rules to integrate the above mentioned elements in adaptive systems to ensure the achievement of results.

Maurice Blondel announced a century ago that some day a logical structure would be developed capable of integrating the preexisting logical models. That is the case of the Unicist Logic.

The Unicist Standard Language is necessary to deal with the Unicist Standard.

Energy saving in management requires dealing with the nature of a business. The Unicist Standard is needed to deal with the nature of management. It allows using object driven management to optimize the business processes.

The Unicist Standard Language is necessary to deal with the Unicist Standard.

“Dealing with Human Adaptive Systems necessarily is driven by complexity. Adaptive systems are complex in themselves but dealing with human adaptive systems adds a new complex component which is the ambiguity implicit in human behavior.

The existence of conscious and non-conscious aspects of human behavior produces naturally the existence of an ambiguous environment.

The purpose of adaptive system management is to influence human adaptive systems using the object driven technologies included in the Unicist Standard.

The development of the Unicist Standard Language was necessary to provide a context in order to understand, communicate and influence the management of human adaptive systems.”

Adaptive systems are complex having to univocal cause-effect relations that allow exerting disruptive external influence.

Reality appears ambiguous when a person tries to apprehend the nature of an adaptive system, having the sound knowledge and experience in the field. Without having the knowledge reality appears uncertain.

In this case ambiguity exists and the individual needs to understand the double meaning that appears in her/his mind in order to exert the necessary influence on reality.

Success depends on individuals’ capacity to transform ambiguous inputs into concrete operational outputs.

Every displacement generates a friction that needs to be managed.

When two people are doing something in a working environment and one of them produces work and the other is inactive, the friction produced is extremely destructive.

It produces a paradoxical situation because:

1) There is an extreme conflict if the friction is not eliminated.
2) If the parts are “lubricated”, there will be no friction but the person who is inactive will continue doing nothing.
3) The inactive person needs to judge what the other part is doing because that judgment sustains her/his self-esteem.
4) Finally, the one who does the work ends up being judged by the one who cannot do it and the conflict escalates to the maximal level.

Apparent movement is worse than inaction

Inaction appears often hidden behind apparent actions that are done without having assumed the responsibility for producing results. These apparent actions are based on fallacious decisions that produce negative results because they generate costs without adding value.

In this case they do not produce friction; they directly produce an “explosion” of the situation or an “implosion” of the actions.

If this conflict is not faced the natural trend towards minimum energy consumption (*) and inaction will prevail, eliminating both apparent actions and real actions.

To deal with this problem the nature of doers has to be understood in order to avoid their quitting. Access a free e-book on the Nature of Doers http://unicist.org/deb_doers.php

Fundamentals define the nature of reality. The unicist technology for diagnostics approaches problems based on their nature.

Problems turn complex when results must be achieved, and require a high accuracy of the diagnoses, prognoses and action plans to solve them. Unicist technologies for diagnostics were developed to ensure results.

The unicist approach considers any specific reality, on which influence intends to be exerted, as a unified field. This is the origin of the name unicist.

Access the visual guide to the Unicist Standard in Business at:
http://www.unicist.org/unicist_standard_guide_en.pdf

Diagnosing implies describing the functionality of a reality. And this description includes the internal cause-effect relations, whether they are univocal or bi-univocal.

From that point on, a prognosis of the natural evolution of that reality has to be developed and then an action plan to influence such reality is included in the final diagnosis. Unicist diagnoses include: descriptions, prognoses and action plans.

The notorious capacity of Procter & Gamble is given by the way it manages the social insertion of innovations.

The notorious capacity of Procter & Gamble is given by the way it manages the social insertion of innovations.

We recommend watching the following two short presentations of Procter & Gamble at:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycMXZDybhlw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x93YopVXJSM

Innovation is the basis for economic growth. Essentially, countries, cultures, institutions, and individuals grow only in the fields where they are open to innovations.

The purpose of innovation is to overcome scarcity. That is why only people or cultures that have the will, find the way to overcome scarcity. This is the cultural context that fosters innovation.

The driver of innovation is human creation. The word creation is used in the sense of recreation. Humans create based on the existing energy.

The maximal strategy of innovations drives towards the solution of a scarcity. Therefore innovative organizations have the perception that they add value to the environment. But this is only true if the minimum strategy is also fulfilled.

The minimum strategy implies inserting the innovations into the social capital of the environment. Social capital is defined by the strength of the bonds that integrate the members of a community.

Commercial innovations need to be only one step ahead of the habits of the environment. If they are more than one step ahead they fail, unless there is an extreme need and they are, implicitly, a “back to basics”.

In this field Procter & Gamble is a notorious benchmark.
